Founded in 1938, Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2-19, dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty. At our core, we are an organization dedicated to the development of strong families. Today, our organization has over 220 local chapters across the country, with more than 30,000 families committed to making a difference in the lives of children. The local Montgomery Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. recently celebrated its 65th year anniversary with a robust membership of 37 moms and 65 children. Through our strong programming, philanthropic giving, community service, and leadership opportunities, we are nurturing bright young men and woman that will go on to be strong pillars in our community in the years to come. Our signature fundraiser is our biennial Beautillion Militaire. Our young adults are high school juniors and seniors who have engaged in a series of events crafted for their development of character and leadership. Some of these events have focused on health and wellness, financial literacy, healthy relationships, public speaking, and civic engagement. Proceeds for our fundraising will benefit local 501(c)(3) charities. Collectively, these organizations invest in the potential of those in need through their ongoing work to offer support, provide representation, create opportunities, and raise awareness. The Jack and Jill Foundation is the philanthropic arm that supports children across the world. Our Foundation has distributed millions of dollars to communities all across America and supports programs that create opportunities that inspire our youth to reach their full potential as scholars and global citizens.
